John Force is the winningest drag racer in NHRA history with 122 career victories, 14 championships and 194 final round appearances. He won his first championship in 1990 and won every year in the 90s except for 1992, when he was toppled by Cruz Pedregon. His streak continued until 2004 when he lost a close battle to Tony Pedregon and Gary Scelzi in 2005. He earned his 14th title in 2006.
He is currently the team-mate of son-in-law Robert Hight and Eric Medlen and, in 2007, will team up with Top Fuel Dragster driver Melanie Troxel and Funny Car driver Gary Densham, also. In addition, three of his four daughters race in the NHRA circuits.
John Force is one of the most recognizable names in drag racing. It is not uncommon to go to a drag race and see 3/4 of the fans wearing the signature green Castrol GTX colors. He is notorious for doing very long burnouts before he races and his popularity can make his autograph difficult to get during race time.- A screenwriter, novelist, and the award-winning author of over one hundred short stories, Matt left school and the Southern California home of his birth at age 15 to become a professional wrestler. He spent the remainder of his formative years at the legendary Doghouse in Queens, New York, training alongside current TNA and WWE superstars Homicide and Kaval as well as studying martial arts and pursuing his first love of fiction. After a decade of traveling North America as a pro-wrestler and combat instructor he retired to write full-time. He was first published at 24, saw the release of his first short story collection at 25, and signed on to pen his first screenplay at 26. He's since written for film and television, as well as penning Web 2.0 content ranging from internet series and comics to podcasts. He now resides in Los Angeles and bleeds exclusively on the blank page.
